Teapot made of black stoneware clay with different glazes for the exterior and interior. The reaction between the clay and exterior glaze results in a unique texture. All teapot elements are made by hand. Each has a built in ceramic strainer and can be used for any kind of tea such as sencha, oolong, or western herbal tea. The teapot has variations in color, texture, and surface patterns from the glaze and firing processes-each piece is slightly different. All pieces are thrown and shaped by hand.
